First of all, chop the onions into large pieces and fry them with oil, when they are a little pink, add the flour, fry a little more, quickly add the tomato sauce and mix quickly. Now we add the water little by little and adjust the consistency, at this stage we add the salt and the broth if you are going to use it and let it boil. When it boils, reduce the heat and cook until the onions are soft. Then we put it through the blender, take it to the bowls, sprinkle a little grated cheddar cheese and serve it… Bon appetit.
